Handmade, Blue, Lino print of figure with laptop and window

This print design is called 'Isolation IV’ and was inspired by the Covid-19 third lockdown and the persistent isolations. It is one of several designs I made that depict people sitting at home alone. 

It depicts a nude female figure relaxing in her home. The emptiness of her figure contrasts with the geometric design of the wall behind. As with most of my drawings, I have tried to draw a realistic rather than "idealised" body. The pervasive ubiquity of technology features in this print.

My prints are all unique designs, hand carved and printed individually using nineteenth century antique printing presses. I use the highest quality oil based inks and heavyweight paper to ensure that the designs really pop and the colours last longer than water based inks.
